STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Mercyhurst men and women's track and field team continued their season at day two of the NEC Indoor Championships. Highlighted by a top-10 finish in distance, the Lakers competed in multiple events to wrap up the day.
In the men's 5000 meters, freshman
Thomas Gaydos placed eighth overall, with a time of 15:00.89.
In the women's 5000 meters, junior
Molly McIntyre placed 14
th overall, with a time of 19:11.72.
In the men's shot put, freshman
Gannon McMaster placed 19
th overall, with a throw of 11.93 meters.
