Erie, Pa.- The Mercyhurst baseball team is set to return home for the final time in the 2025 season this weekend when they host Le Moyne. The Lakers will finish out their NEC portion of their schedule as they aim to finish .500 in conference play in their first year at the Division I level. They've also had success at home this season and will look to continue that trend and finish with a winning record at home.

On the Diamond:
The Lakers continue to be led by their seniors on the field.
Eric Chorba has continued to hit well at the plate. He still leads the team in batting average as he's hit .329, but
Jayden Walker has closed the gap. He's hitting .314 and has been the hottest bat on Mercyhurst for the past few weeks. Walker has hit 11 home runs and 10 doubles. Only
Ranciel Ventura has more doubles this season. Walker also leads the squad with 35 RBIs.
Chris Juchno has stolen 18 bases this season, which is more than every player on the roster by six.
Ethan Adams has led all underclassmen this season at the plate. He has 22 RBIs and five home runs. On the mound,
Jacob Bazala has posted a 6-3 record and punched out a team-high 70 batters.
Aidan Kelly is second in strikeouts with 62 through 60.2 innings of work.

Scouting Le Moyne:
The Dolphins are 15-9 in NEC play this season. They're looking to finish the year strong behind the play of Benji Ries and Jack Cannon. Both have hit five home runs this season and have combined for 59 RBIs. Le Moyne has five batters hitting above .280 this season, so they'll look to challenge the Lakers early. On the mound, Max Parker has been their go-to guy. He has 3-7 record but has put in 68.1 innings of work. The Lakers are likely to see him early in the series.

th. The Lakers will celebrate the 10
th Anniversary of the First World Series team Saturday and then host Senior Day on Sunday. All of the action can be caught on the NEC Front Row.
