Erie, Pa.- The Women's Tennis team made it three in row on Tuesday when they took down Edinboro 6-1 on Senior Day. Before the match, the Lakers honored seniors
Kayla Dean,
Roisin Murphy and Sara Bertolez.

How it Happened:
The senior duo of
Kayla Dean and
Roisin Murphy kicked off the match in the No. 1 slot against Sofia Benito and Cecilia Carayol with a 6-1 win.
Daria Rogova and
Andjela Mrvaljevic dropped their match to Rafaella de Almeida and Maria Clara Salomao. But
Kiersten Brown and Sara Bertolez clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 win over Luciana Ponce and Lara Sener.

In singles,
Kayla Dean had a dominating win over Carayol 6-0, 6-2 as she continues to cap off her impressive career. Rogova took yet another win in the No. 2 slot over Benito and in the No. 3 slot Murphy grabbed a 6-2, 6-2 win over Sener. Bertolez took the lone loss of the afternoon in a 3-6, 4-6 to de Almeida. Mrvaljevic jumped into the No. 5 slot where she picked up a 6-1, 6-0 victory. In the final slot,
Sierra Rodgers picked up her first win of the spring season with a 6-2, 6-3 win.

Next Match:
Mercyhurst will make the trip to St. Bonaventure for a match on Friday. The Lakers will then take a week off before they travel to Teaneck, NJ. for conference matchups with FDU and Wagner.
