Erie, PA – Mercyhurst football has officially welcomed 31 recruits on 2025 National Signing Day, marking the first recruiting class of the Division I era. This talented group includes both mid-year transfers and incoming freshmen that spans across 15 states and one Canadian province. All of whom are set to bring significant depth and skill to the 2025 roster.

"First and foremost, all the credit goes to my staff for their diligent work on finding the right student-athletes that fit our C.U.L.T.U.R.E., Program, Academic, and University's Standards. I would also like to thank everyone on campus that had a hand in recruiting our first #CarpeD1em class. As a program, we couldn't be more ecstatic about the newest additions signing today. We were able to bring in a good mix of size, speed, and athleticism in this group. Overall, we have 30+ signed to our inaugural Division I class, with 10 student-athletes enrolling at the mid-year and our first ever Freshman early enrollee this spring."
