Erie, Pa.- The Mercyhurst Women's Tennis team fell at home 6-1 Bucknell on Sunday afternoon. It was the Lakers second straight loss and their last game before they go on their spring break trip.

How it Happened:
In the doubles portion of things, the Lakers were unable to grab the point. Whitney King and Abby Platt took down the duo of
Kayla Dean and
Roisin Murphy, who were paired up for the first time since the season opener, 6-2.
Daria Rogova and
Andjela Mrvaljevic took the Lakers lone doubles win in the No. 2 slot in a 6-3 decision over Anna Lajos and Riley Jennings.
Kiersten Brown and Sara Bertolez dropped their match to Caroline Marcus and Natalie Devraj 6-3 in the No. 3 slot.

In singles, the Lakers only grabbed one win. Dean played in the one spot and fell to King 4-6, 2-6. Rogova picked up the lone win in the two slot as she beat Platt 7-5, 6-2. Murphy lost to Lajos in a close battle and Bertolez fell to Tori Allen 1-6, 1-6. Brown lost to Jaycie Mair in the No. 5 slot before Mrvaljevic dropped her match to Mirra Manolov 2-6, 3-6.
