Germanich, Provenzano, Roberts All Named in NEC Honors

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – The NEC released their awards for the weekend of Nov. 7-9. Tia Germanich was named the NEC Bowler of the Week for the first time this season. Briana Provenzano was named the NEC Rookie of the Week for the first time in her career. Ahmielle Roberts was also named an NEC Prime Performer for the second time this season along with Germanich.
 
This is Germanich's first time being named the NEC Bowler of the Week and Prime Performer. The sophomore bowler is boasting a 21.88 pins per frame average, while also recording a 219.5 average in traditional competition at the first NEC Meet. She has also led the way with 74 strikes out of 120 attempts, landing 61.7% striking percentage.
 
Provenzano earned her first NEC Rookie of the Week honors. The freshman bowler recorded a 19.9 pins per frame average at the first NEC Meet, while also rolling a 187.83 average in traditional competition. She also recorded 50 strikes out of 120 attempts, leaving her with a 41.7% striking percentage.
 
Roberts earned her second NEC Prime Performer award of the season. Roberts recorded a 21.8 pins per frame average at the first NEC Meet, as well as rolling a 220.83 average in traditional competition. She also led the way in the tournament by rolling a 279 game, a tournament best.
