Chicago, IL- The Mercyhurst Men's Soccer team looks to make it three in a row as they travel to the Windy City to take on the DePaul University Blue Demons this Friday. 

The Lakers are coming off an impressive outing where they beat Robert Morris 1-0 this past Monday. Riley Kutschbach scored the only goal in that match. The Lakers will look to generate offensive play through forwards such as Luis Felipe Santos and Alvar Silva who each have a goal this season. All eyes will be on senior captain Dylan Sumner. Sumner has a goal, an assist, and is one of two players to play in every minute of every game for the Lakers this season. Goalkeeper Danilo Abayo is also coming off two consecutive clean sheets in goal. 

The Blue Demons have a 2-2-1 record after recently beating Wright State University by a score of 4-1. The Blue Demons will look to their sophomore playmaker, Noeh Hernández, to create chances going forward. After playing within the Chicago Fire Academy, Hernández signed with DePaul. He started in 12 matches as a freshman and ranked top ten in goals and goals per game in the Big East Conference last season. Hernández has a goal and three assists in just five matches for the Blue Demons.
