Erie, Pa.- Fresh off their second straight East Coast Conference title and the announcement of the transition to Division I athletics, the Women's Bowling team has announced their 2024-2025 schedule.
Mercyhurst will jump into action at their own invite when they host the Mercyhurst Invitational on October 5
th and 6
th. The Lakers will host a total of 10 teams, including Niagara, Penn State Behrend and Mount St. Mary's.
From there, the Lakers will compete in competitions for the next two weeks, participating in the Penguin Classic Invite in Youngstown on October 11
th and 12
th and the Golden Bear Invite on the 19
th and 20
th, hosted by Kutztown University.
Following the end of the Golden Bear Invite the Lakers won't compete again until they travel to the Niagara University Brunswick Fall Open on November 2
nd and 3
rd. They wrap up the fall at the Northeast Conference's first weekend of regular season matchups from November 15
th to the 17
th. Competition takes place at Ripics Carousel Lanes in Binghamton, NY
Exactly two months later, Mercyhurst will resume action when they compete in the Northeast Classic in New Castle, DE from January 17
th to the 19
th. The team will then attend the Mount Shootout from February 7
th to the 9
th. The next weekend they'll bowl in the Northeast Conference's second weekend of regular season action in Altoona, PA.
Finally, the Lakers will compete in the Purple Eagle Brunswick Spring Classic on February 22
nd and 23
rd before the Northeast Roundup on March 15
th and 16
th. The NEC Championship is scheduled for March 21
st in New Castle, DE.
