Erie, PA- The Mercyhurst Stunt team wrapped up their season today as they played a double-header against Misericordia University. The Lakers defeated the Cougars in both games by scores of 20-2 and 18-2. 

How it Happened: 

Game One

Mercyhurst started off strong in partner stunts sweeping the quarter and heading into the second quarter with a score of 4-0. The second quarter brought similar results as the Lakers scored three more points to make the score 7-0 heading into halftime. In the third quarter, Mercyhurst scored three points, as Misericordia scored one point in the fourth round to end the third quarter with a score of 10-1. The final quarter brought similar results as the Cougars scored one more point, but it was not enough as the Lakers ran away with the game. They scored 10 more points to defeat Misericordia in the first game by a score of 20-2. 

Game Two 

The Lakers continued their success in the second game against Misericordia. They swept the entire first half as they scored three points in the first quarter and three points in the second quarter to make the score 6-0 going into the half. Misericordia tried to close the gap in the third quarter as they scored two points, but Mercyhurst fought back scoring four points to make their lead 10-2 going into the last quarter. The Lakers did not stop there as they scored eight more points in the fourth quarter to defeat the Cougars for the second time by a score of 18-2.
