3/6/2026 9:14:00 PM

ERIE, Pa.  – The Mercyhurst STUNT team hosted Walsh and Hiram for their second and third home games of the season. They took an early lead on Walsh and executed their routines very well as they beat the Cavaliers, 29-6. They then took on Hiram and defeated the shorthanded Terriers, 17-0.

In game one, Mercyhurst faced Walsh. They had a great partner stunts quarter, taking a point from each round. They kept earning points and even earned a few doubles in the jumps and tumbling quarter. It was in the fourth quarter where Mercyhurst really ran away with the game. Their jumps and tumbles were electric tonight. They earned two points in each jumble portion of the fourth quarter and went on to defeat the Cavs, 29-6.

In the second game, the Lakers competed against Hiram. The Terriers were very shorthanded for this trip. On the other side of the mat, Mercyhurst kept competing with routines one through three and earned enough points over Hiram to secure a 19-0 victory. Notably, the Lakers earned a point in every jumps and tumbling routine yet again, displaying their success in this category.

The Lakers have quite some time off before returning to the mats. Their next challenge will begin in Nashville on March 19.
