The Mercyhurst STUNT team returns to the Mercyhurst Athletic Center to host Ashland in their Epilepsy Awareness Game. The game is set for Friday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. Viewers can find live streaming on the NEC Front Row. 
 
Previous Results
The Lakers began their season competing at the Bluegrass Classic in Kentucky. On day one, they played Tiffin and beat the Dragons, 27-9. They then began MAWC play against No. 8 NKU. They led the Norse for the entirety of the game and defeated them, 26-5. 

On day two of the tournament, the Lakers played St. Mary's. This contest was a little bit closer, but Mercyhurst was performing really well. They beat the Rattlers, 25-12. The toughest game of the tournament came in a MAWC content against the hosts, No. 2 Kentucky. The Lakers performed well, but the Wildcats kept securing two-points in several rounds. The final score ended up being 39-17 in favor of Kentucky. 
 
Matchup History
Mercyhurst is 0-4 against Ashland all-time. The first matchup between the two began in February of 2024. The Eagles beat the Lakers twice. The two matchups in 2025 were a lot closer and Mercyhurst was elevated to DI at this point. Ashland beat them 20-8 in February of 2025 and 17-11 in March of 2025. 
 
Lakers to Look Out for
The top scorers from the Laker's opening weekend featured Maddie Chang and Peyton Castonguay. Chang scored 80 points and Castonguay earned 75. 
 
Liberty Novak and Ellanora Hines were tabbed as the Laker's weekly standouts. 
 
Scouting Ashland   

• The Eagles are 4-2 overall and 2-0 in GMAC play. 
• They opened the season against No. 2 Kentucky and fell to the Wildcats, 30-9. 
• They then lost a narrow contest against No. 9 Trevecca Nazarene, 23-20. 
• Ashland began their four-game win streak with a 21-2 win against St. Edwards. 
• They beat Purdue Northwest, 22-15 and Walsh, 21-1. 
• Their highest-scoring game came in their most-recent 35-16 victory over Tiffin.
