Box Score Washington, D.C.- The Mercyhurst Women's Soccer team went on the road for their 14
th game of the 2024 season, where they lost to Howard in a 3-0 decision. The Lakers now sit at 1-2-2 in conference play with just five games left.
How it Happened
Howard wasted no time getting on the board. It took the Bison just 18 seconds for Asia Mickens-Perez to find the back of the net. Howard controlled the pace of the first half, but only managed to get two more shots on goal in the first 45 minutes. Both were saved by Graduate Student
Chelsea Radicia. In the second half, the Bison offense really took off. They recorded 19 total shots in the half, with two beating Radicia. Gabriella Garcia-Terrell struck in the 68
th minute. Eight minutes later, Samantha James put the Bison on the board again. Freshmen
Rosie Bandura and
Ida Bromsjo-Tunmats registered the Lakers lone shots on goal in the matchup.
