Davis, Wv. - The Mercyhurst Men's and Women's Golf team completed a two-day tournament at Cannon Valley Resort in Davis, West Virginia.
How it Happened
Evan Rowane was the low man for the Men's team, coming in four under par. In his three rounds he shot 70, 68, and 74 which put him in a tie for 19th place. Aidan Fong played as an individual and finished tied for 35th at even par. In his three rounds he shot 73, 71, and 72. Mac Deitrick came in a four over par, which put him in a tie for 60th place. Darien Swanson came in at five over par, which placed him in a tie for 65th place. Tyler Thomas came in at nine over par, which put him in a tie for 75th. John White finished at thirteen over par, which placed him in a tie for 84th. As a team the men finished in 14th place with a total score of ten over par.
Kymberly Henry finished in first place overall for the tournament for the women. She came in at seven over par with a round of 74, and a round 77. Lauren DeArment finished in third place with a round of 79 and a round of 78 for a total of thirteen over par. Isabella Walter finished in a tie for fifth place at 15 over par, and Lena Jones finished in a tie for eighth at 17 over par. Sofia Carrizosa played as an individual. She came in at 20 over par which put her in 11th place. Alyssa Ballaro rounded out a great day for the Women's team. She came in at 23 over par which placed her in a tie for 14th. As a team the women finished in first place overall for the tournament. A great day all around for the women's team who saw each individual place inside the top 15.

The men will travel to Grove City, Pennsylvania for the Hal Hansen Invitational at Grove City Country Club October 1-2. The women will host the Evann Parker Memorial Invitational at Lake View Country Club October 6-7.
