Women's Golf Earns Second Place With Three in Top-10

PERRY PARK, KY—The Mercyhurst Women's Golf team earned a second place finish at the Klash in Kentucky with a 36-hole total of 667 (337/330).
 
Kymberly Henry went low for the Lakers as she earned a third-place finish. She fired an 80 during round two with 12 pars for a two round total of 161. 
 
Isabella Walter and Sofia Carrizosa joined Henry in the top-10 with scores of 165 (84/81) and 167 (83/84) respectively. 
 
Walter had 11 pars during her second 18. Carrizosa found red figures on the ninth hole today to play the front just four over. 
 
Alyssa Ballaro finished T-16 for the tournament with a total of 174 (89/85). Her second round was highlighted by a birdie on the fourth hole. 
 
Hannah Mensch rounded out the lineup for the Lakers shooting 201 (108/93) over two days. 
 
The Lakers return to the course on April 3 for the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational hosted by West Chester.
