Warren, Ohio – The Mercyhurst Women's Golf team closed out a competitive two-day event at the YSU Spring Invitational, held at Avalon Lakes Golf Course, with three Lakers placing inside the top 25 in a field of over 50 golfers.  As a team, the Lakers finished in fifth place out of eight teams. 

Team Highlights 

The Lakers were led by Alyssa Ballaro and Olivia Seaman, who each finished tied for 18th with a two-day total of 156 (+12). Both golfers posted consistent rounds of 78-78 across the par-72, 5,813-yard layout. 

Molly McGreal joined them in the top half of the leaderboard, finishing 22nd with a score of 159 (+15) after opening with a 78 and closing with an 81. 

Emily Ferguson posted back-to-back rounds of 80 to finish T-23 at +16, while AnnaMarie Zinram made a strong second-round improvement, jumping up the leaderboard with a final score of 175 (+31) to tie for 44th.
