Long Island, N.Y. – Mercyhurst Women's Bowling wins their first ECC Championship in program's history. The Lakers dominate Molloy on their way to winning the mega match and the championship trophy.
 
After going undefeated on Saturday, the squad returned to the bowling alley for the final day of the tournament as they took on Molloy in the traditional match, following with a best of nine baker match.
 
The Lakers started well as they won the first bout by a score of 1044-971. They continued their winning streak in the baker match, defeating Molloy in five straight games, and eventually winning the championship trophy, 5-0. The Lakers stepped on the gas as they knocked down over 200 pins in four games and didn't give Molloy any chances to come back.
