ERIE, Pa - The Women's Lacrosse team faced the Le Moyne Dolphins today, Mar. 11, 2023. 

The Lakers suffered their first loss, 6-18.

Quarter One

The Lakers were able to keep the score close by posting three goals in the first. Maggie Newton claimed two of those points. 

Mercyhurst claimed six of the nine draw controls and recovered two ground balls.

Quarter Two

The Lakers were able to recover six ground balls and earned one free position shot.

The score going into the half was 3-12.

Quarter Three

Victoria Gottorff and Megan Millard both capitalized on goals. 

The team was 100% on the clears this quarter and also recovered two ground balls. 

Quarter Four

Right before time ran out, Newton scored her second of the game. 

The Lakers recovered four ground balls and earned two draw controls. 

Highlights

Maggie Newton earned four points.

Kiana Francis caused two turnovers.
