Fredonia, N.Y.—The Mercyhurst Men's Cross Country season opened up on Saturday as the Lakers traveled to Fredonia State.
Alec Bidwell was the top performer for the Lakers as he finished 3rd in his first race of his junior campaign. Joe Groth picked up where he left off from last season as he finished fourth with a time of 20:49.38. Evan Haemmerie just missed out on a top ten finish as he cross 11th with a time of 21:52.16. Nathan Nelson earned a top 20 finish with a 16th place finish with a time of 22:47.70.
