Biography

2022: Participated in two races during his senior season. Had his best performance of the season in the Fredonia State Invitational on 9/3/22 with a time of 20:49.38.

2021: Appeared in all six race, had a season best time of 26:04 in a 9th place finish at the Harry F Anderson Invitational. Finished 10th at the PSAC Championships to claim all conference honors.

2020-21: Finished 11th at Run in the Park ... Top finisher at PSAC Championships with a 36th place finish.

2019: Appeared in all seven races as a freshman. In the Doug Watts Invite he finished 12th.  Came in 58th at both the Division II/III Challenge at Kutztown and the Lock Haven Invitational.  4th at Mercyhurst/Gannon Race in the Park.  Season-best 3rd place result at Bill Lennox Invite with a time of 26:55.  Finished 27th in the PSAC Championship and 31st at NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional.     

Major: Marketing        

Prior to Mercyhurst: Ran cross country at Frontier High School where he was selected as a Cross Country All-Star First Team.

Personal: Son of Todd and Tracie Groth ... Has two siblings, Gillian and Allison.
