Biography

2022: Participated in five races during his final season. Had his best performance of the season in the Fredonia State Invitational on 9/3/22 with a time of 22:47.7.

2021: Finished 170h with a time of 33:39 at the Harry F Anderson Invitational.

2020-21: Finished 24th at Run in the Park and 112th at the PSAC Championships.

2019: Appeared in five races.  Doug Watts Invite finished 62nd.  Division II/III Challenge at Kutztown placed 127th.  In the Mercyhurst/Gannon Race in the Park finished in 45th.  Season-best 30th at the Bill Lennox Invite with a time of 33:20.  136th in the PSAC Championship.        

2018: Participated in a couple of races.

Major: Anthropology

Prior to Mercyhurst: While running for Leigh High School he was named a Scholar Athlete.  He was able to drop his average mile time from six minutes to 5:30.

Personal: Son of Steven Nelson and Diane Lopez-Nelson ... Has four siblings, brothers, Daniel, Donald, and Nicholas, and sister, Amanda.
