PERRY PARK, KY—The Mercyhurst Women's Golf team closed out the Klash in Kentucky on Sunday. The Lakers posted 349 on the tournament's final day to finish in fifth place.
 
Isabella Walter was Mercyhurst's top finisher for the event earning 10^th place. She backed up her first round 79 with an 83 in round two.
 
Alyssa Ballaro's total of 166 was next up for Mercyhurst. The freshman shot a score of 82 in the second round, the lowest for the Lakers on the day.
 
Lauren Dearment chipped in a 90 on the second 18 at Perry Park Golf Resort to bring her total to 173. Hannah Mensch rounded out the Lakers scoring in the second round with a 93. Lena Jones' 94 was the drop score for Mercyhurst. Her total was 181 for the event.
 
The Lakers return back to action next Monday as they head to Ohio for the NC4K Classic hosted by Ohio Dominican.
