CLARION, Pa.—The Mercyhurst Women's Golf team finished out the Clarion Fall Guy Invitational today with a second-place finish. They posted a team total of 676 for the two-day tournament.
Isabella Walter had the best finish for the Lakers with a 36-hole total of 161 (80/81). Her second round was highlighted by two birdies on the back nine to play them at even par.
Sophomore,
Alyssa Ballaro earned a share of eighth place after firing off an 86 today making her tournament total 168 (82/86). During her second round, she carded a birdie on five to play the front at four over.
Lauren Dearment wasn't far behind her teammates finishing T-15. She posted a 36-hole total of 173 (87/86). Senior
Kymberly Henry took one more stroke than her teammate and posted a score of 174 (86/88). The Erie native carded a birdie on two helping her to a four over finish on the front.
Rounding out the lineup was
Hannah Mensch with a tournament total of 188 (91/97). Mensch posted a birdie on eight during her second round.
This tournament concludes the fall season for the Lakers. Mercyhurst did not place outside the top-five in any tournament this fall. They earned two third-place finishes, two second-place finishes, and took the crown once.
