ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to visiting St. Francis Friday night at Westwood Racquet Club. 

The Lakers picked up the point for doubles with Naomi Jahr and Emily Gordon picking up a 6-4 victory at second flight. Mercyhurst also picked up a forfeit win at third flight. 

In singles, Valentine Budin scored a singles victory at number five with by a score of 6-0, 2-6, 6-2. 

The Lakers are back in action on Sunday when they travel to Duquesne.
