CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Mercyhurst women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to host Charleston Saturday afternoon. 

The Lakers picked up a doubles win from the team of Valentine Budin and Janice Theodora with a 6-4 at the third pair. 

Alana Lewis netted the Lakers point with a 7-5, 6-2 victory in number six singles. 

The Lakers are back to action on Sunday when they travel to Fairmont State.
