Box Score OLEAN, N.Y. – The Merychurst women's tennis team fell 6-1 to host St. Bonaventure Saturday afternoon.

The Bonnies won the first and second flight doubles matches to claim the doubles point, but Janice Theodora and Valentine Budin teamed up to earn a 7-5 victory in the third pairing.

Budin would follow up her doubles victory with a 6-4, 6-3 straight set victory in sixth singles.

In second flight singles, Athina Tsagkaraki dropped the first set 6-0, but rallied for a 6-3 victory in the second. Tsagkaraki dropped the third 3-6.

The Lakers are back in action on Friday when they host another Division I opponent Saint Francis University at 7 p.m. at the Westwood Racquet Club.
