HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ. – The Mercyhurst women's bowling team finished 11th at the Hawks Flight invite on Sunday.

Mercyhurst went 1-4 on day two of the invite to give them a 2-9 record on the weekend. It had a total of 9,675 pins on the weekend.

In five traditional matches the Lakers recorded a total of 5,363 pins. The Lakers fell 974-778 to Long Island before winning 898-768 over New Jersey City. They then lost 1075-946 to Duquesne, 1060-975 to Fairleigh Dickinson and 970-864 to Vanderbilt.

Haley Youker was named to the All-Tournament team for the sixth straight tournament. She had 1,147 in five traditional matches. She finished third in the individual standings with 1,361 pins with a 226.8 game average.

Samantha Strebel placed 32nd with 1,119 pins and a game average of 186.5.
Samantha Schurr got 43rd place with 987 pins and a 164.5 game average.
Anica Akin was next with 957 pins and a 159.5 game average for 45th place.
Andrea Fracassi was 46th with. 939 pins and a 156.6 game average.

Mercyhurst is back in action when it heads to New Castle, De. For the Wilmington Invite on March 7-8.
