HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Mercyhurst women's bowling team went 1-4 during the first day of the Red Hawk Invite on Friday.
 
Mercyhurst had a total of 4,312 pins in five Baker matches.
 
Mercyhurst defeated Felician 737-718 to start off the day. The Lakers then lost 1033-912 to Monmouth. They lost to Sam Houston State 1085-826 and to Wilmington 1170-939. The Lakers finished off against Saint Francis with a 1049-898 loss.
 
Mercyhurst is back in action Saturday for the rest of the tournament.
