Men's Lacrosse Adds Logan Tousaw as Assistant Coach

ERIE, Pa. - Men's lacrosse head coach Chris Ryan is excited to announce the addition of Logan Tousaw to his coaching staff for the 2020-2021 school year.  Tousaw's main tasks will be working with a revamped goalie group as well as helping out in with the midfielders.

Tousaw makes the short trip to the Erie campus after serving as the Head Coach at Mercyhurst Northeast for the last two seasons.  Prior to patrolling the sideline at Northeast he spent two seasons as an Assistant Coach at SUNY Oswego where he served as the Defensive Coordinator.  Tousaw helped the Lakers to post 10 wins in 2018 which was their best mark in 22 seasons and ended a nine-year postseason drought.

In 2017, he took a step away from coaching to play professionally for the Rochester Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse.

Tousaw began his coaching career in 2016 as an Assistant Coach for SUNY Cortland.   There he helped the Red Dragons to capture the SUNYAC Conference title and advance to the Second Round of the Division III tournament.

The Syracuse, New York native had two stops in his collegiate playing career as he spent two seasons at Onondaga Community College where he was a two-time All-American and aided the Lazers in back-to-back Junior College National Championships.  He then advanced on to Marquette University, playing two seasons on defense for the Golden Eagles and was twice selected for the Big East Conference All-Academic Team.

Tousaw graduated from Marquette with a Bachelor's degree in Communications in 2015, before earning a Master's of Business Administration from SUNY Oswego three years later.
