ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – The Mercyhurst men's tennis team fell 4-0 to Columbus State during the NCAA Round of 16 on May 21. Mercyhurst was the 15th seed while the Columbus State was the second seed in the tournament.

- Columbus State won three straight singles to claim the 4-0 victory.
- At No. 2, Fraser fell in a tie breaker to Asdrubal. Sebastian Pardo fell to Arnold Kokulewski at No. 4 and Schmedding fell to Schold at No. 6.

The Lakers end the season with a 18-4 overall record and 5-0 mark in conference play. This was the fifth straight season that they made an NCAA Tournament appearance and third time to the Round of 16 in the past five seasons.

Mercyhurst was ranked second in the Atlantic Region and 39th in the nation.
