WILMINGTON, DE. – The Mercyhurst women's bowling team is in 11th place after the first day of the Wildcat DII-DIII Invitational.
 
The Lakers went 2-3 on the day in five Baker Matches. They had a total of 4,049 pins for a 162.0 game average.
 
Mercyhurst started the day with a 830-813 win over Felician. The Lakers then won 819-790 over Kutztown.
 
The Lakers then dropped three matches. They fell 801-718 to Chestnut Hill, 934-823 to Mount Aloysius and 884-859 to Daemen.
 
Mercyhurst is back in action on Saturday for five Traditional Matches.
