Box Score ELKINS, W. Va. -- Eleven different Lakers had goals as the eighth-ranked Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team won its Great Midwest Athletic Conference opener over Davis and Elkins, 20-2, on Saturday.

Sam Crusha tallied three goals each while two-goal scorers were
Nathan Grenon,
Colin Greenway and
Peyton Manko.
Single goals were recorded by
Nicholas Bartone,
Dan Kritkausky,
Caleb Kueber,
Austin Robare and
James Wittmeyer.
Evan Schumacher recorded three assist and had eight groundballs while going 13 of 15 in the faceoff circle.
Grenon had two assists while Convery, Pipher and Greenway dished one assist apiece.
James Rettinger finished with four GBs and was 5 of 7 in the circle.
Jarrett Cook contributed three GBs and two caused turnovers.
In the cage,
Alec Starr earned the win, making three saves in the first half.
William Koester totaled three saves in the second.
Mercyhurst outshot D&E, 65-20, and held a 40-19 groundball advantage and 19-6 tilt in faceoffs.
Matt O'Dwyer scored by goals for Davis and Elkins.
The Lakers (5-1, 1-0) will return to action on Saturday, Mar. 24, with a 3 p.m G-MAC home game versus Lake Erie.
