The Mercyhurst women's ice hockey team is set to play its first home regular season games against second-ranked Wisconsin on Oct. 5-6. Puck drops at 7 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
 
Last Time Out
The Lakers traveled to third-ranked Minnesota where they fell 4-2 on Friday before suffering a 5-0 loss on Saturday.
 
Emma Nuutinen scored a power play goal while Emily Pinto recorded her first collegiate goal.
 
Goaltender Kennedy Blair made a total of 62 saves during the weekend.
 
Mercyhurst was perfect on the penalty kill, killing off six power plays.

Summer-Rae Dobson tallied the lone Laker goal. Blair made 27 saves in net on Friday while Sarah McDonnell made 31 saves on Saturday. Mercyhurst killed off nine power plays.
 
Brette Pettet tallied three goals while Caitlin Schneider, Mikaela Gardner, Sophia Shaver, Alexis Mauermann and Sam Cogan each added one goal for Wisconsin.
 
Goaltender Kristen Campbell made a total of 50 saves during the weekend.
