In the final period, Tanskanen scored on a two-on-one breakaway to double the Laker lead at 13:04. Back-to-back Lindenwood penalties at 15:35 and 15:55 allowed Mercyhurst a five-on-three power play where Dobson netted her second of the game at 17:28.

The Lakers finished 2-for-5 on the power play with ten shots on goal while Lindewood scoreless with one shot on its lone power play of the game.
Dobson's two-goal game was the first multi-goal game of her career. The Lakers improved to 6-0 this season when leading after two periods and 4-0 when having one player score multiple goals.
