The Mercyhurst volleyball team will travel to South Euclid, Oh. this weekend in the Notre Dame (Oh.) Tournament. Mercyhurst enters their third week of the season with a 2-6 record. The Lakers previously competed in the Mercyhurst/ Gannon Invitational, where they emerged 2-2, for the tournament, claiming victories over St. Michael's (3-0), and Glenville State (3-1).

Mercyhurst will compete against three non-conference teams in this event taking on Concord, West Virginia Wesleyan, and Notre Dame (Oh.) over the two day event. 

 The Lakers are led by junior Shelby Chesko who has 73 kills, 23 digs and 22 blocks on the season. Alyssa Zirnheld, is also a major contributor having 61 kills, 35 digs, and five blocks. Freshman Hannah Vuylsteke leads the Lakers in digs with 114 on the season. Makayla Mollé and Abby Rose led the assist category with 127 and 105 respectively.  

Mercyhurst is set to take on Concord on Friday night at 7:30 pm. On Saturday night the Lakers are set to square off against West Virginia Wesleyan at 5:30 pm and Norte Dame (Oh) at 7:30 pm.
