Box Score ERIE Pa. – Jorge Gonzalez scores four goals to help the Mercyhurst men's soccer team to victory over Lock Haven University. The score at the end of the match was Mercyhurst four Lock Haven zero, with this win Mercyhurst pushes their record 9-3-1, while being 7-1-0 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
 
Gonzalez scored the opening goal assisted by a pass from Mark Roche up field beat two defenders and chipped it in past the goal keeper. The second goal was scored from a free kick that was awarded after a Lock Haven foul. The third goal was assisted by Thom Derks, while the fourth was assisted by Michael Blancato, both goals were scored after a crossing pass in front of the goal keeper only to have Gonzalez drive both of them home. Goal keeper Alex Brems was award four saves for his efforts in the net, for his role during the shut out.
 
The Lakers will play again next on the road in Cedarville Ohio, against Cedarville University at 7 P.M.
