ERIE, Pa. - The Mercyhurst University men's and women's tennis teams, scheduled to play at Allegheny College on Wednesday, were postponed due to inclement weather. Both matches have been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 16, at Allegheny. Start time is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Both the men's and women's tennis teams are now scheduled to begin the 2015-16 season at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Singles/Doubles Championships hosted by Bloomsburg University. The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. both days.

Last season, both programs claimed their first-ever individual champions since joining the league in 2008. Nenad Terzic claimed the singles title on the men's side while Saioa Gomez de Segura accomplished the same feat on the women's side. Both are entering their sophomore seasons this year.
