ERIE, Pa.- The #4 Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team travels to #11 Wheeling Jesuit for an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) match on Saturday, April 19. The contest is slated for a 1 p.m. faceoff.

Mercyhurst is 9-2 overall and 4-1 in the ECAC. It has won seven straight games, including a 17-3 win at Alderson Broaddus April 14.
Brady Heseltine has 30 goals, while
Jake McAndrew has 20 goals and 18 assists this season.
Brandon Thomson has added 15 goals and 14 helpers.
Michael Grace's 5.65 goals against average leads Division II.
Wheeling Jesuit is 9-1 overall and 4-1 in the ECAC. It won, 18-12, at Seton Hill last weekend. Bryce Brochi put up six goals and two assists in the road win. He paces the Cardinals with 40 points (29 goals, 11 assists) on the year. Brian Frank has dished out a team-high 16 assists to go along with 15 goals. Seven different Cardinals have scored 11 or more this season. Joe Amsler has started all 10 games in goal, recording a 7.81 goals against average.
The Lakers are second in the South in this week's NCAA Regional Rankings, released Wednesday. The top four teams from each region at the end of the conference tournaments will qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
With wins in both of their last two ECAC outings, the Lakers will earn the top seed in the ECAC Tournament and host the event May 2-4.
Mercyhurst leads the all-time series, 16-0, including a pair of wins over Wheeling last season. The Lakers won, 15-7, on March 30 and then took a 14-3 decision from the Cardinals in the ECAC Tournament Semifinals May 3.
