#1 Men's Lacrosse Faces Saint Rose at Tullio Field Saturday

ERIE, Pa.- The #1 Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team hosts the College of Saint Rose on Saturday, April 14. The non-conference game is scheduled for a noon face-off at Tullio Field.

The Lakers are 9-0 in 2012, coming off a 16-7 victory over Lake Erie College on April 11. Brady Heseltine scored five goals and Brian Scheetz totaled two goals and four assists.
 
The Golden Knights are 5-5, including a 10-6 loss at #9 Saint Anselm on April 10. Kevin Fleming scored three goals and Nick Longo recorded 10 saves in net. 2012 marks Saint Rose's first year of Division II lacrosse.
 
Mercyhurst has a 16-match win streak dating back to last season and has won its last 10 home contests. Scheetz, who has 33 points this season, leads the Lakers. He is seven from tying Troy Ledbetter's 155 for the career points record at Mercyhurst.
 
Coach Chris Ryan's squad closes the regular season with three East Coast Conference matches following Saturday.
