EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa.- The Mercyhurst field hockey team lost 3-2 at East Stroudsburg Friday afternoon. Lucrezia Manzione scored on a penalty stroke in the 54^th minute to give the Warriors the decisive goal.
 
ESU (3-7) opened scoring with a goal at the 17:09 mark. However, the Lakers responded soon thereafter, as Marissa Faso scored in the 23^rd minute to tie the game at 1. Katie Erbacher had the assist.
 
Mallory Pope regained the advantage for the home team in the 30^th minute and the Warriors took the 2-1 edge into halftime. Kelsey Lovelace tied the match at the 37:07 mark, as Catherine Willard set her up for the goal.
 
Manzione scored the game-winner midway through the second frame.
 
Ashley Wiskup made 15 saves in net, as ESU outshot Hurst 20-11 in the contest.
