ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst Field Hockey team is excited to unveil its 2026 season schedule, promising an array of competitive matchups both at home and on the road.
 
The season kicks off Aug. 28 with an away game against Lock Haven. This will set the tone for a series of back-to-back away games, including a matchup against Saint Louis Sept. 6. The team's home opener will take place Sept. 8 against Saint Francis, providing fans their first opportunity to cheer on the Lakers at home.
 
A notable highlight in the schedule is the neutral site clash against Saint Louis Sept. 12, followed by an away game against Central Michigan Sept. 13. After these away games, Mercyhurst returns home to welcome Wagner for the Centennial Game on Sept. 18. The Lakers go on the road again for matchups against Merrimack Sept. 25 and Stonehill Sept. 27.
 
The season continues with an exciting mix of home and away games. Mercyhurst welcomes LIU at home Oct. 2 before embarking on a three-game road trip to face Ohio Oct. 4, Saint Francis Oct. 6, and Rider Oct. 9. Key home games follow, including matchups against Quinnipiac Oct. 16 and New Haven Oct. 18.
 
The Lakers will wrap up their regular season with a series of away games, facing Davidson Oct. 23 and closing the season against Sacred Heart Oct. 30.
