WAYNESBURG, Pa. --  The No. 11 Mercyhurst wrestling team easily picked up its 13th win of the season, downing Waynesburg, 33-7. 

Eight Lakers posted victories and were led by a fall at 133 pounds from Michael Baxter and technical falls at 157 and 165 pounds by Andy Lamancusa and No. 1 Josh Shields.  Pat Carter at 174 pounds and heavyweight Mike Sullivan also added major decisions.

Mercyhurst improves to 13-5-1 on the year and are in action next on Saturday when the Lakers face Kutztown at 11 a.m. and American International at 1 p.m. in a quad meet with Gannon University at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.
