2010-11: Took over the starting job at 285lb after returning from a quarterfinal NCAA playoff run with the football team… posted a 3-1 performance during the Super Region I Championships to take third place and become a national qualifier… beat the sixth seeded Ron Oswald of Seton Hill to advance to the second day of the Regional Championships, he then beat the fourth seeded Justin Grant of Kutztown and went on to beat the No.1 seeded J.D. Ramsey of West Liberty to finish in third and qualify for the national tournament… went 3-1 to finish fourth in his first tournament of the year at the Mount Union Purple Raider Open…had six different consecutive win streaks, won three in a row dating from Jan.22 to Jan.28…recorded four falls on his way to a 13-7 overall record… found himself ranked third in the last two regional polls of the season.


2009-10:  Finished 17-13 on season, posting third-most wins on team after beginning season in Dec.…recorded 10-6 mark in dual meets, going an even 7-7 in tournament competition…ranked as highly as second in regional poll during year…staged a seven-bout winnings streak, winning last three matches at Mount Union and posting 4-0 record in Super Region I Duals…registered two falls and two major decisions on season…placed fourth at Mount Union Open with 3-1 record, registering one fall…went 3-2 at Cleveland State Open with one fall…won last two dual meet bouts of season.

High School: Played football... Named first team LEL and second team All-Ohio after leading squad to a state finalist appearance and a 13-2 record...Also named first team All-Northeast Ohio...Team won LEL Championship and a regional title...Also a standout high-school wrestler and competed in track and field.

Personal: Born May 4, 1989...Majoring in sports medicine...Son of Fred and Elizabeth.. also a member of the Lakers' football squad.
