Biography

2010-11: Finished junior year with an 8-14 record while winning six matches during dual meets…took over the starting position at 165lb class after battling half the season…won three consecutive matches dating from Dec.16 to Dec.18…best showing of the season came at the Mercyhurst Quad meet where he won two-of-three matches.

2009-10:  Posted a 7-17 overall mark, including a 2-9 mark in dual meets while splitting time in the Lakers lineup… recorded a fifth-place finish at the Mount Union Open with a 3-2 mark… posted two pins on the year… closed out the last three matches of the season as the regular in the lineup.

2008-09: Closed out rookie campaign with an 11-22 mark…broke into the dual meet lineup on Dec. 18 and won three straight, including a 15-1 major decision over Brett Hunter of Chadron St… finished fourth at the National Catholic Invitational.

High School: Finished third in the state in Division I...Won a conference championship...Team won three conference championships and placed as high as fifth in the state in Division I.

Personal: Born March 17, 1990...Plans to study finance...Son of Mike and Debra Leahy...Three brothers -- Jeff, Chris, and Nate.
