Pre-Mercyhurst: Dual-sport athlete playing baseball and hockey while attending Cushing Academy...Part of the Cushing baseball team that won the 2006 New England Prep Championship...Helped Cushing Hockey to three playoff appearances...Scored six goals and tallied 15 assists for Cushing in 2008-09...Won the sportsmanship award as a senior...Tied for first in defensemen scoring as a member of the Jersey Hitmen of the Eastern Junior Hockey League...Scored six goals and added 13 assists for 19 points while playing in 39 games...Helped the Hitmen to the 2009 Dineen Cup Championship.
