2008-09: Appeared in 31 games as a freshman…Registered two assists and +3 plus/minus rating…Recorded both assists on season against Niagara, Feb. 7 and Feb. 20.

Before Mercyhurst: Played hockey for Honeybaked, Belle Tire and Little Caesars, where her teams won five straight state championships and made five national tournament appearances...Finished as high as second twice at the national tournament...Been in attendance for the Lake Placid camp every year since 2004...Dual-sport athlete participating in track and field...Earned all-region and all-conference honors for the 100m, 4x100m and pole vault events. 

Personal: Daughter of Nancy and Lewis Hersey...Three siblings...Dual major in elementary and special education.
