Biography

2009: Missed most of the season with an injury… recovered near the end of the season and picked up valuable time as a pinch-hitter with some substitution play… started eight contests and appeared in 18 total games…. notched a .333 average, gathering 12 hits in 36 trips to the plate, scoring five runs and driving in 10.

2008: Appeared in 45 games starting 39...Posted a .273 batting average with 36 hits...Drove in 11 runs on the year and recorded four doubles...Third on the team with sacrifice bunts with six...Tied for first in sacrifice flies with 2...Fifth on the team for at bats with 132...Fifth on the team in fielding percentage with .988...Second on team with 149 putouts...Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored against C.W. Post on Feb. 29...Went 2-for-4 with a RBI and a run scored against Salem International on March 15...Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored against Division 1 Canisius on April 2...Went 2-for-4 with a home run against Ashland on April 30...Had eight multi-hit games.

Prior to Mercyhurst: Made three appearances with two starts for Division III Mount Union in 2007...tallied six strikeouts in nine innings pitched. 

High School: Earned first team Division III All-Ohio First Team honors, and Academic All-Ohio his senior season...Named all-county, all conference and Cleveland Plain Dealer First Team...Hit .582 with six home runs and drove in 40 runs...Was also 6-2 on the mound with 71 strikeouts in 52 innings pitched.
