2023-24: Appeared in 31 games during his first year with the Lakers. He recorded an impressive 13 assists, which helped him finish fourth on the team in points. Margel had a great run through December and into early January, picking up four goals and an assist through five games.

Prior to Mercyhurst: Played the 2020-21 season for the Johnstown Tomahawks (NAHL) with 25 goals and 36 assists for 61 points over 42 games as he was named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year ... Played four seasons for the Selects Hockey Academy at South Kent School as he set school career records for goals (127), assists (146) and points (273) as the team won the USA Hockey National Championship in 2019 ...Three-year assistant captain and team’s MVP (2019)

Personal: Son of Stu and Julie Margel ... Has two siblings, Sam and Dylan ... His gradfather rowed for Yale while his dad played lacrosse for George Washington, his mother swam for ASU and his cousins Becca and Emma played lacrosse for Brown.
