2024: Appeared in 18 games with starts in one of them for the Lakers. Finished with five goals and six assists for a total of 11 points with three of his goals coming on 4/21/24 against Mercyhurst for a season-high. Recorded 25 ground balls for the fifth most on the team, collection two or more in five games with a season-high of seven coming on 3/2/24 against Frostburg State in a game in which he eclipsed 100 ground balls for his career.
2023: Appeared in 19 games with starts in two during his junior season. Scored four goals with back-to-back scores against Lake Erie (4/19/23) and Frostburg State (4/22/23). Added 49 ground balls to his line for the second most of anyone on the team. Had at least one ground ball in all but one game and had multiple ground balls in 13 games with a season-high of six on 2/25/23 against Wilmington (De.).
2022: Appeared in 15 games off the bench as a short stick defensive midfielder. Was named first team all GMAC, First team All-Region, and a USILA First Team All-American as well as the National Short Stick Defensive Midfielder of the Year. He scored five goals and added nine assists while scooping up 21 ground balls and causing eight turnovers. He produced four multi-point games including two assists in the GMAC Semifinals against Walsh.
2021: Appeared in all 14 games as a freshman, totaling 21 ground balls, seven caused turnovers, three goals and one assist. In the three postseason games he picked up five ground balls and forced four turnovers.
Major: Intelligence Studies
Prior to Mercyhurst: Was a multi-sport athlete at Baldwinsville High School where he played both lacrosse and football. In 2019, he earned Second Team All-League honors in lacrosse, while also capturing First Team All-League and Second Team All-CNY in football.
Personal: Son of Jeffrey and Jennifer McCard ... Has one sibling, Marley ... Father played college football and lacrosse at RPI.
