2023-24: Waugh appeared in 31 games as a senior, scoring 10 goals from the blue line. He was one of three players to have over 10 goals on the season, highlighted by his overtime winner on the road against Miami (OH) (11/24). Philip was awarded the team's Top Defenseman award at the end of the season.

2022-23: Played 31 and started eight games for the Lakers, had three assists and scored one goal. Waugh had 40 shots on target and a total of 48 blocks.

2021-22: Appeared in 14 games in his first season with the Lakers, recorded one assist on 2/4 against Army. Finished the year with 15 blocks.

Major: Competitive Intelligence with a minor in Cyber Security

Prior to Mercyhurst: Played the 2020-21 season with the P.A.L Junior Islanders scoring 29 points on 12 goals and 17 assists in 25 games ... Played 43 games for the Brooks Bandits of the AJHL in 2019-20 ... Scored 13 points on three goals and 10 helpers. Three-sport athlete also played lacrosse and football.
