Sanchez was a varsity member of Sacred Heart University, in her 4 year campaign Sanchez skated in 77 games for the Pioneers totaling 2,178 Saves in net. In her Junior season, Sanchez faced 73 shots vs. Robert Morris University, only allowing one goal on her way to an NCAA all time 6th best goalie saves in a single game. Frankie averaged a career .911 save percentage, and a career high 7 shut outs in her senior season. Sanchez was named most outstanding player for the Pioneers for 3 consecutive years and named to the NEWHA All-academic team two years and was named an AHCA Academic All-Star her senior season. Sanchez graduated with her degree in Social Work and a minor in Psychology.
